The colour palette represents the header and main colour schemes colour which is the brown, the white for font colour, the blue which is the highlight colour.
The blue for the highlight and navigation colour and the white navigation hover.The pink for the hover links. The colours have been selected as they blend well together. Also in terms of usability the colours do not clash therefore giving users a pleasant experience.
When creating the shortlist of words within the style approach phase the chosen colours represented the words and descriptions. Then the colours really brought the approach into mind and made the wireframes come to life and really stand out.
