Navigation
The navigation and main page structure consists of 6 pages. Home, About, Special offers and the Gallery and basket. Then the sub navigation consists of the secondary links the site-map and competition and testimonials.
Home
The home page consists of instructions displayed in a visual way, with chocolate squares as bullet points. This instructs the user on how the ChocoCreate process works. Therefore being useful and describes to the user what the purpose of the website is for and how to interact with it.
About
The about page tells the users about the business and promotes the website. There is a link to the blog engaging user with external links to the web page.
Create
The create page is the main feature of the website, it has a selection of toppings in the varieties container and a chocolate bar for users to customize by dragging the toppings they want. Again there are instructions for the user.
Special Offers
The offers page has a new offer each month something which similar sites did not have. This can be an opportunity to interact with social media via competition.
A competition has been posted to visit the factory and have chocolate samples. Therefore engaging the users with the site and boosting reputation as this is online if users see there is a real world presence will go some way to user trusting the websites reputation.
Gallery
A simple galley that gives users images of previous creations, gives user a picture of what delicious creation they could have. Also if they see them as a chocolate bar rather than a topping they will be more likely to want to make one.
Competition
The Competition is to win a tour of the factory with free samples to boot. This effectively will engage the user with the business, as this business would be somewhat new it is a way of allowing users to trust the business if some users see the premises and the standard of the creation.
As essentially the business is product based and an e-commerce site, engaging users with the business and gaining the trust is a somewhat important task. This will allow users to see it is more than just an e-commerce business but in fact as a good company reputation even being fairly new. Users are entered by purchasing an incentive to purchase and a promotion scheme.
Feedback
The feedback page allows users to send feedback about the website. Simply by inputting their name e-mail address and comments. A useful tool for user feedback and to see if user are gaining trust in the business.
